Installing your bypass

Your bypass requires the following connections:

Brown Connect to remote start black/yellow in 12-pin harness

Green Connect to Key Sense wire @ ignition switch. See Diagram below

Violet Connect to TX wire @ ignition switch. See Diagram below

Orange Connect to RX wire @ ignition switch. See Diagram below

Red Connect to constant +12v

Black Ground

There is a thick black cable included with your bypass. Do not use it!!!

Suggestion: Don’t use tap connectors on the Data and other small wires coming off the key lock cylinder or ECU

connectors. The wires are small and sometimes a tap connector won’t make good contact. We suggest you either

wrap and tape or solder and tape these connections. See Installer’s Tip #2 on page 6.

Another suggestion: Don’t program the bypass yet. We want to make sure the remote start is connected and working

properly first.

Step 2 – Program the Bypass

Once all your connections are made, programming the bypass is easy

1. Once the bypass is connected, the LED on the IM05 will turn and stay ON.

2. Put your key in the ignition, but leave it in the ‘off’ position.

3. Once the key is inserted, the LED on the IM05 will flash quickly and turn off, indicating that it has been

successfully programmed.

If the red LED stays on, repeat the procedure
